| 伊森 | Ethan, |
| 還有基 | and there's Ki. |
| 這個美好傳統可以回溯到13世紀 | And this great tradition goes back to the 13th century here, |
| 蒙古人佔領韓國時 | when the Mongols occupied Korea |
| 將這個概念帶進來 | and introduced the idea |
| 也就是大家用薄切 | of community grilling thinly sliced, |
| 醃製的肉片 | marinated meats |
| 在木炭上烤 | over hot coals. |

| 這是舌頭，對吧？ | [Phil] That's tongue, right? |

| 他是猶太德國移民 | Jewish-German immigrant, |

| 烤肉的另一個大重點就是喝酒 | [Phil] A big part of the barbecue experience here is drinking. |
| 也就是啤酒和燒酒 | Which means beer and soju, |
| 燒酒在傳統上是用大米蒸餾的 | a liquor traditionally distilled from rice. |
| 如果有時候喝瘋了 會把啤酒和燒酒混著喝 | Sometimes if they're going a little crazy, they mix the beer and soju together. |
| 我們要喝燒酒炸彈嗎？ | [Irene] Are we doing soju bombs? |
| 好，可以，你看這個 | [Phil] Oh, yeah. I guess we could. Look at this. |
| 嚴格說來，這不是燒酒炸彈 但效果還是差不多的 | These aren't technically soju bombs, but things may still get messy. |

| 這大概是我這輩子吃過 最好吃的韓式烤肉 | This is probably the best Korean barbecue I have ever had in my life. |
